AYANOCOZEY SHOW - boso no kyouken
aka Show-yan, Ceronius, Ayanoppe Image Color: RED Celebrates his birthday every 26th April, and is forever 16. Blood Type B. Birthplace: CHIBA (Kisarazu). Although he may look like he is the youngest and the most 'yancha'* of the bunch, Show is the founder and leader (or more affectionately acknowledged as Dancho) of Kishidan and he has come a long way in building the ultimate band he had always dreamt of. The most prominent characteristic of Show has got to be the fact that he is a chatterbox, he loves to talk, let it be on TV, radio or at their concerts. His MCs can stretch on for over 15-20 minutes per slot but it never fails to entertain all listeners. A 40 minute interview can stretch up to 2 hours all thanks to Show alone! It is common knowledge that even with the other 5 members present at interviews or special message recordings, you will always hear only Show. However, you know that he speaks truly from the heart, never pausing to arrange his words, he can go on forever with tales from his past, present, the dressing room without leaving out the most important element of his speeches... all the irrelevant information which more often that not is beside the point! Show has always said that Kishidan operates as a band who relays 'information' to their listeners/audiences via their music, their costumes, their presence, his MCs, their comedy, simply everything. Being the front man of Kishidan, it is also vital for one to be entertaining and always full of ideas. For Show, this is no task at all as he is a natural born artiste! He is witty, intelligent and most of all just quick at whipping up a new joke or tale to keep you just wanting for more. Before becoming a major band, Show was also the one who would design their band flyers with the help of Yukki as he himself is someone who in incapable of handling computers, yes, he is technologically challenged. In fact, Show never had a cell phone until recently and has been training to type fast by updating his journal via his phone. Besides being the backbone of the band and the reason for the very existence of Kishidan, Show is also responsible for the composition of the majority of their songs up to date. Most of their songs available today under the distribution of Toshiba were in fact made way back in their indie days. They were remastered and newly arranged for their major releases. Show added before that Ranma helps a lot in the arrangement of their songs, adding a bit of zest and spunk in making the songs catchier for Kishidan. In fact it was Ranma who suggested to Show to add the "Koi Koi Koi Koi" intro and the "Suki? Kirai" part to the Koibito song making it a much more fun song overall. Before the current lineup was formed, Show was originally the guitarist and vocalist of the band, he then dropped the guitarist role when both Tommy and Ranma decided to join Kishidan officially. Today Show is the proud vocalist of Kishidan who dances alongside Hikaru to their unconventional rock tunes. You can still see Show playing the guitar in their Lives during their instrumental performance of Asayake BANZAI. Show also played the guitar at [The Last Song] Live for Kokudou 127 gousen no shiroki inazuma in Ranma's absence. Show's vocals have developed tremendously from their indie days. Pick up a copy of their indies album and listen to it for yourself. Not only was his vocals significantly different, Kishidan's sound back then was almost empty as compared to their sounds today. The songs hold true to their original tunes but with the collaboration of the current 5 members in the arrangement of their songs, Kishidan finally found their weapon, which is their joint effort in producing their present music making them distinctive from other bands. Thanks to the vigorous dancing and jumping on his part and Hikaru's throughout their Live show, you would definitely notice that Show sweats buckets on stage!! Fans who stand up close to the stage would most probably have At Kishidan's first open air gig (which was coincidentally free of charge) in Yoyogi, called the [Harajuku Boudou]**, Show was actually down with a high fever. The event was something that he was fervently working towards for the band, it was their chance show Japan who Kishidan truly was. He over exerted himself and had to regrettably submit to a menacing fever that took him down straight after the concert. When the warm spring breeze blew his way while on stage, it pierced deep into his bones and he swore it was the frosty winds of Siberia that struck him! Show claimed that he did not remember anything that happened after the concert as he passed out and was brought to the hospital. It was the first and last time to date that Show did not make it to their after party, supposedly making the rest of the band wait restlessly for his arrival. Definitely a day to be remembered by all members and staff. Show is also someone who takes time to reach out to their fans through his own writings which you can find on the Kishidan-chan Blog with frequent photo updates courtesy of his trusty cell phone camera. If you read his journal entries you would realize that he actually reads the comments posted by fans as there will be responses from him in his following post concerning the remarks made. He has also released two self written books telling tales of his boyhood and of the making of Kishidan to stories up to the [The Last Song] concert in Tokyo Dome at the end of 2004. All in all, Show is one who will never give up and will strive for what he thinks is right regardless of what others about him may think. Once he has his mind set on something he will pull everyone in his power into 'his way' to mold the dream into reality. Through his books you would realize that he is a man of confidence and that is what that has brought him to where he is today. The Show we see in PVs and on stage may at times look like the most carefree spirit on Earth, but underneath that always bright and charismatic personality is one who is struggling relentlessly but passionately to beat the rest to come out as the One and Only!
