SAIONJI HITOMI - tama no daikyojin
aka Tomi, Tommy, Long Tall Tommy, BIGZAM (from Primary School year 4 (9 years old) to Junior High School year 2 (14 years old)) Image Color: PURPLE Celebrates his birthday every 23rd October, forever a young 18 year old. Blood Type B. Birthplace: TOKYO Tommy is the lead guitarist of the band. The most distinct thing about him is probably his height. Standing at 2 meters 9centimetres tall, he is responsible for making everyone else in the band, especially Hikaru, look like midgets. Believe it or not, in a regular medical checkup some years back, Tommy is found to be still growing in height! He has some contributions to some song writing and his songs include: Teenage Pirate, School Wars, Roll Over Seniorita and he collaborated with Show on the song Kokudou 127 Gousen no Shiroki Inazuma on the melody and DxIxY on lyrics. Tommy seems to have pretty accurate pronunciation in his English which can be at times heard during skits and solo parts in lives. During the Tokyo Dome live, Show described Tommy to be the SHINYA-TYPE in Luna Sea. If Show is the front leader of the band, Tommy is that in the shadows. As mentioned in the Quick Japan interview, Tommy is the only member in the band that would be able to help Show with the thinking of solutions to problems they face when the rest of the members will just rattle on with "What should we do? What should we do?" Tommy likes to save money and he was the only happy rich man in the FUTURE FORECAST CLIP. Often the leader of the many subgroups Kishidan has, he leads the rest of the boys to show that they can too reign the world without Show and Hikaru too sometimes. Subgroups so far: KISHIDAN-鬼死團-, Saionji and the Rojou, Osupera-zu. Although not very blessed in the vocal department, Tommy's convincing impersonation skills with Elvis and Hotei acts in lives makes up for that. It is suspected that Tommy might harbour special feelings towards fellow band mate Yukki (drummer) as shown in the Samurai DVD and here. Everyone in the band often complains about Tommy's smelliness and Show too has publicly ranted in the official blog about how Tommy wears the same T-shirt for days without changing during their "training camps". |
